John Maurer Competes at USA Championships
Congrats to new QCG gymnast John Maurer who competed at the 2004 USA Championships in the Jr. Division

Boys at Nationals The boy's had another successful Nationals. Johnny Harrison finished 3rd on vault in Junior Elite 1. Johnny, David Ortiz, Andy Sauber, Taylor Nelson and Julian Whittle all qualified two the 2nd day of competition.

Regionals
Congrats to Andy Sauber, Julian Whittle, David Ortiz, John Lane, Matt Vultaggio, Taylor Nelson and John Harrison for qualifying to nationals.
Julian Whittle (JE2) and Andy Sauber (JE1) both made the regional team by placing 6th and 4th AA. David Ortiz (JE1) placed 8th AA and Class 4 Conner Hundley placed 10th AA

Alumni is All American
Aaron Rakes is an NCAA All American as a Freshman for Michigan. Congrats Aaron!

2004 State Meet
The class 6's and Junior Elites won state meet as a team. The class 6's broke the 170 barrier going 170.45.

Arnold Expo
Another great meet by our boys. Class 6's won again. The class 1,2&3's made a lot of finals.

Blaine Wilson Cup
Queen City had a great showing this meet. The class 6's continued their undefeated season with a big win. Paul Montegue led the way winning the all around.
The Class 4's finished 3rd and the JE 1's finished 2nd. Andy Sauber made 5 finals winning floor and finishing 2nd on pommels and 3rd AA.

Winterfest Results Posted
Great job to the boosters running another great Winterfest - 500 gymnasts and done in time for the super bowl. QCG team champs - class 6, and Class 1&2. All Around winners DJ Bucher (elite), John Harrison (JE1), Austin Smith (Class 6), Kevin Conrad (Class 6) and Peter TenEyck (class 6).

Alumni Makes US so Proud
Former QCG and Stanford gymnast, Marshall Erwin, will be on a Fox Reality Television Show, Man vs Beast 2 on Feb 20th. From the Fox press release "The next beast who will try to hold his own against human competition will be Bam Bam the Orangutan, when he hangs 11 feet off the ground in a test of endurance against Marshall Erwin, NCAA gymnast and rings champ. Who can hang the longest without slipping off?"

GTCO Invite
Class 6's (pictured) win the GTCO Invite and the Class 5's finish 2nd!!! Paul Montegue and Peter Teneyck wins their 2nd AA title. Results

Circle of Stars
The class 6's had their first meet and placed 3rd as a team. Paul Montegue and Peter Teneyck each won the all around.

Jason Whitfield
The Class 5's won the team competition at the Jason Whitfield. The class 4's were 3rd. Results will eventually be posted at the State of Michigan's web site

Windy City 2004
The optional boys had their first meet at the Windy City Invite. Results

The class 6's will be at the Circle of Stars meet - split into two different sessions. Norm will give out the information.

QCG Future Stars
Six boys went to the regional futures testing. In 10-11 age group Taylor Nelson finished 7th AA and qualified to the national testing. Conner Hundley and Pierce Harger also had a great meet. Jeremy Siegel finished 6th in the 8-9 age group. Paul Montague and Alex Gordon also competed in 8-9 age group.
